What to Expect

Young Eagles Flights

Kids get a free introductory flight courtesy of local EAA pilots — a logbook entry and a story they won't stop telling.

Burgers & Hot Dogs

We'll have burgers, hot dogs, and chips out all afternoon. Come hungry, come anytime between 11:30 and 5.

Meet the Pilots

Walk the ramp, see the planes you hear overhead, and meet the neighbors who fly them.

From Last Time

A young Young Eagles passenger giving a thumbs up from the cockpit of a helicopter — Thumbs up before takeoff

A red and white RV tailwheel aircraft parked on the ramp in front of a hangar — One of the neighborhood's own

A child in sunglasses smiling in front of a red RV aircraft in the hangar — Hangar visits before the flight

Two aircraft flying in formation over the neighborhood at sunset — Evening formation over Eagles Nest

Good to Know

RSVP early — flight slots are limited and go through EAA. Link coming soon.
Parking: park on the street and please don't block driveways.
Golf carts: welcome to park on the driveway as room allows.
Weather: this is a rain-or-shine neighborhood BBQ, but Young Eagles flights depend on weather and pilot availability. We'll post updates here if anything changes.
